Coastal She-Oak

  • Common along the coast of north-eastern Australia
  • Excellent at stabilising coastal fore dunes
  • Highly tolerant of harsh conditions such as strong coastal winds, heat and sea spray
  • Fast growing and usually grow to heights of 7m
  • Leaves of the She-Oak are small and fine and grow in small ring at the joints of the branchlets, minimising water loss.
