Glassbottom boaters set their sights on seeing Manta rays today and they were not disappointed.  As the majestic black creatures brushed the surface of the water, loud shouts of “there’s one” and “over here” could be heard from the shore.  Divers were also astounded at the sight of all the Manta Rays over their heads as they drifted along underneath them.

Interested guests wandered with a Maintenance worker to learn all about the inner happenings of the island and how “behind the scenes” works.  A tour of the desalination plant and the Hybrid Power station had guests thinking about how their own activities could be more eco-friendly.

Afternoon discovery tourers visited the Red-tailed Tropic Bird under suite 3, where both adults sat comfortably together on the ground.  Another three were spotted and heard courting in the air, whilst one sat alone in front of suite 4.  No egg sighted there as yet, but it can’t be too far away.

Trivia whizzes, teamed up for a hilarious night of silly answers to legitimate questions.  Some crazy answers came out from the teams as they fought their way to LEI champions.  Congratulations to the “Sweetlips” who managed only about 5 wrong answers in the entire night!! Some people sure know their stuff.
