What could be better in the morning to wake up to the sounds of birds singing and the warmth of the sun shinning on your feet?  Nothing!! We’ve got it all out here in paradise, our natural alarm clock and the beautiful crystal waters of the Great Barrier Reef!

Today, not only did whales breach just 50 metres from the glassbottom boat, not only did Manta Rays hang around the boat the whole hour we were out there, BUT DOLPHINS!! Dolphins just 20 metres from where the Glassbottom boat was cruising, playing in the water, jumping in the air and surfing the waves right in front of amazed onlookers.

Reefwalkers once again found the shy little Hermit Crab, along with new Caledonian Seastars, a massive bright blue Giant Clam and a tiny Lionfish cowering underneath some branching coral.  A wonderful walk for all who experienced it.

Island discoverers visited the Tropic Bird chick but once again; only saw its fluffy little behind, still too shy to face the world just yet.  The fish pool was brimming with activity as mullet and moon wrasse raced around grabbing every tidbit of food they could find before the seagulls could grab it!

Nightstalkers heard some ghostly stories at the graveyard and stopped at the Lighthouses to watch them in all their luminescent glory, finding the exact spot on the beach where, to the right person and eye, it looks as if they light is originating from the old lighthouse.  Six frogs were discovered, three in the pipe along the Lighthouse path, and three in the drain behind the houses. Afterwards everybody settled into their cosy beds for a goodnight’s sleep before doing it all again tomorrow!
