You could have mistaken yourself for thinking that you had died and gone to heaven here at Lady Elliot Island. The island was like a dream this morning with the azure waters mirrored by the clear sunny skies.

On the glass bottom boat, guests jumped up and down with excitement when they saw a humpback whale slapping its tail against the water. It was only just off shore, who knows why it was doing it but it looked as if it were having fun and we loved it. Under water the whale songs were deafening! Well maybe not that loud, but it was very impressive and it gave the whole snorkeling experience an interesting atmosphere. The water was crystal clear and the wildlife activity was very memorable. Some guests were lucky enough to see a sea snake coming to the surface for a quick breath of air before retreating back into a deep cavity of the reef.
