From Iraq to Paradise Together

I - John was deployed in Iraq as a Firefighter from 2009-2011. Who would have thought that while being in Iraq I would meet the woman of my dreams and end up at the resort location of our dreams (Lady Elliot Island) to help celebrate our Honeymoon & my homecoming.

It all started with a MySpace Web Page back in 2009 where Ronda and I first became friends and started getting to know one another. It was through Myspace that we found each other and after some time decided to go on our "first date" together as I invited Ronda on a cruise to Italy, Greece, and Croatia in August of 2009. She accepted my invitation courageously and gracefully. It all went wonderfully, even after a scare of me getting out of Baghdad in time to meet Ronda in Venice, Italy and make the cruise departure on time. But I managed to make it there 4 hours before the cruise departed Venice. From there we saw Rome, Athens, Mykonos, Croatia and made wonderful first memories together.

It was history from that point on and after 2 years in Iraq, Ronda and I had our Wedding Ceremony aboard The Sea Princess Cruise Ship on Dec 18th 2011 while on our cruise to New Zealand from Sydney. We are more in Love than ever and have saved the best of our 30 day "Down Under" Wedding/Honeymoon Holiday for last--Our 1 week stay at Lady Elliot. We have done so much in the last 3 weeks, from Bungy jumping off of the Sky Tower & bridges in Aucland, swimming with the rare Hectar Dolphins in Akaroa, experiencing the Sydney New Year celebration and countless wonderful memories that I am happy to make for Ronda.

But in 2 DAYS we will arrive at Lady Elliot and spend the most romantic and celebratory time together at what we know will be the greatest Honeymoon destination on the planet, among all of God's most glorious creations and colors. We are grateful that we have this to look forward to and hope to share this experience & our pictures and story with the world. We only want one thing; for all who read this to experience what everyone deserves.. perfect love and sharing that love at the most intimatley perfect place on Earth..
