By far the smartest decision I made
The Great Barrier Reef Course at Lady Elliot Island was by far the smartest decision I made when deciding to study abroad in Australia. As soon as I arrived the hospitality and beauty of the island was simply stunning. The moment I stepped off the plane I had heard the song of a Humpback whale and could see it coming to the surface to breathe, it was unbelievable. And the snorkeling was unbelievable. I have snorkeled in many places around the world and LEI was by far the best I have ever seen. The amount of coral in addition to the marine life, like the sharks, Manta Rays, and Sea Turtles were plentiful which made every snorkel exciting. The seclusion and weather on the island gave me the opportunity to sleep on the beach and watch the sunrise which is something you cannot just do anywhere. The accommodations were nice and the Island's restaurant was delicious. This is a trip I would definitely encourage anyone and everyone to partake in. You will not regret it.
