A very special place

Thank you to all the staff of Lady Elliot Island for making our 3-day stay so amazing - our only complaint was that we weren't staying longer! We crammed so much into our stay, swimming, snorkelling, going on a bird watching tour, enjoying some amazing sunsets with a glass of champagne, then getting up at dawn to watch nesting turtles on the beaches... We came to Lady Elliot Island as part of a full round the world trip and it was definitely one of the highlights. In many ways it reminded us of our stay in the Galapagos Islands on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, both in terms of the beautiful landscape of the island and, of course, the wildlife (both in and out of the water) - all very very special.
