A must to visit

For my 40th birthday my husband arranged a holiday on Lady Elliot Island. Snorkelling has always been something I enjoyed, but never as much as here. I felt like I was swimming in a documentary. The colours were so vivid, the water warm, visibility amazing. The island has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. The Eco-resort really appealed to the environmentalist in me. There were many nesting birds while we were there, and their constant chatter and proximity delighted me. Being able to view the island from the air was also a bonus, and added to the whole exciting package. We have been back again, and enjoyed it just as much, as I'm sure we will each time we return. This is a holiday to recommend and we encourage all our overseas visitors and local friends to make Lady Elliot a priority.
