Lady Elliot trip makes it to parliament house

My 9 year old daughter has just made a speech in the "bear pit" at Parliament House, NSW, on her trip to Lady Elliot Island (we holidayed at Easter). She talked confidently about endangered turtles and how she'd help release baby ones, snorkelling with Eagle rays and meeting the Picasso Triggerfish in the fish pool.Her passion and evident delight about Lady Elliot got her into the finals of the speech competition, an unexpected bonus from a very enjoyable family holiday.
