Lady Elliot Rules

John, I am eternally in your debt for the suggestion to spend some time on that idyllic atoll known as Lady Elliot. Words fail me. Had 7 dives while I was there, the last one on "blowhole". What a blast. On two or three occasions we came back from the dive to sit on our front verandah with nothing better to do than sit there and watch the humpbacks do their thing. One morning, we watched 2 or 3 pods do their thing for about 3/4 of an hour. The food was great, our accomodation was as good as we could have hoped for and the whole week was one we will never forget. As far as I am concerned, the best money we have spent on ourselves in a decade.
