Our Lady Elliot photos appear each time the home computer goes to "sleep". There's the island glistening in a sea of blue, my eldest son pointing out a sea star, underwater shots of turtles, and the abundance of the coral gardens.... We can be walking through the kitchen or sitting down to eat and invaritably someone in the family will pause with a far away look in their eyes, and I know whats coming.... "Mum, can we go back to Lady Elliot?" Our 5 nights on the island has remained the most vivid memory of our 6 week tour in Queensland, the most talked about and the one thing we all want to do again. One day we will come back, in turtle season to see the babies hatch and this time to catch a manta sighting. The Dempsey family, mum, dad and 3 kids aged 12,10 and 7.
